TRUJILLO, ANDREW O. (ANDY) Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend has begun his journey home. Andy passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2014, after a very short illness, surrounded by his loving family. A longtime resident of Rio Rancho, NM, Andy was born on June 15, 1969, and raised as a proud member of Cochiti Pueblo, with close family ties to Jemez Pueblo. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Onofre and Dorothy (Loretto) Trujillo, his brother David Trujillo, and two nieces Justina Valencia and Andrea Armijo. Andy is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Roberta Trujillo, his children Andrew Trujillo, Danielle Trujillo, Erika Trujillo, Jenna Trujillo, Matthais Trujillo, and one grandchild, Gabriel Trujillo. Andy is also survived by his siblings, Frances Pino (Paul), Cecilia Trujillo (A.J.), Anthony Trujillo (Edna), and Judy Suina. He is also survived by his in-laws, JP and Liz Martinez and brother-in-law Troy Martinez (Krishna), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends. Andy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Andy always enjoyed his time with friends and family, whether at family functions, joking around with friends, or sharing with pride his Pueblo culture and traditions. A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at the Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo. THAYER, PHYLLIS Today and every day, we celebrate and honor the life of Phyllis Ann Thayer, cherished mother and grandmother, who passed into eternal life on January 15, 2014. In the months before she passed away, Phyllis was joined by her entire family, who shared stories and fond memories together. This remarkable woman is survived by her sons Mark Thayer (wife Lisa) of La Mesa, CA, Kenneth Thayer (wife Deana) of Midwest City, OK, and Timothy Thayer of Albuquerque, daughters Karen Thayer of Noble, OK, and Sharon Sanchez of Albuquerque, seven grandchildren (Erica, Justin, Curtis, Sydney, Stefanie, Christina, and Jordan), and two great-grandchildren (Keyton and Brien.) Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving sons Michael Thayer (wife Linda Thayer-White) and Stephen Thayer (wife Pamela). A resident of Albuquerque since 1950 and a faithful member of the Catholic Church, she served the community as a registered nurse for St. Joseph's Hospital, Lovelace Clinic, and the federal government and graciously volunteered her time to those in need. Although sadness consumes family and friends who love and will miss her, we are empowered by her continued optimism through the hardships she endured, her strength of character, and her infectious smile and laugh that will forever be in our hearts. ROMERO, MARYLOU Was born on April 9, 1948 in Albuquerque, NM and passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. She was preceded in death and will be welcomed by her parents Joe Romero and Rose Romero; by her beloved son Robert Jaramillo as well as her special friend Carmelita Walch. Marylou is survived by her daughter, Dolores Ramirez; her grandsons Robert Zack Hirschfeld (whom she raised), JoJo Hirschfeld & Austin Ramirez; granddaughters, Ambree Ramirez and Alesha Luke; brothers, Melvin Romero, Manuel Romero, Joseph Romero; sister, Rosemary Dimas as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Marylou was a lifetime resident of ABQ. NM. She was a very proud retiree of the City of Albuquerque. Services will be held at San Felipe de Neri Parish, in Old Town, 2005 North Plaza NW. ABQ. PARGAS, EMILIO Age 88, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 in Socorro, NM. He was born in San Marcial, NM on December 26, 1925, to Benito and Emilia (Baldonado) Pargas. The family moved to San Antonio, NM after the flood destroyed San Marcial. He served his country in the Army during WWII and was an honest, humble, and hardworking man who was devoted to his family. Emilio had a great respect for nature and animals and loved his dogs. He taught his grandchildren how to hunt and fish and he was quite the rockhound. He enjoyed collecting rocks and raising sheep on his farm. Emilio retired from the USGS after 20 years of service. Emilio had a dry sense of humor and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ralph, Luis, Herminio and Jose Pargas; and his sisters, Mary Ann Pargas and Amalia Gonzales. JOHNSON, ROBERT HAROLD Age 83, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away at Lovelace Hospital on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife Jan Johnson and son Scott Johnson, and survived by his daughter Kathleen Brown; and sons Stephen Johnson, Matt Johnson, and Craig Johnson. Robert (Bob) was an active member of his community working at the Good Shepherd Center and volunteering at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His wonderful spirit and talents will be celebrated at a 10:00 am Mass on Saturday, January 25 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW. David believed in living each day to its fullest. He saw everyday as a new adventure and was ready to follow the road wherever it might lead. HENRY, JACK EDWARD &Quot;JIGGS&Quot; 93, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Carla Vallem; sister, Betty Nordeen and her husband, Ronnie; grandson, Jack Volpato and wife, Julie; granddaughters, Sherry Neatherlin and Lori Dawson and husband, Randy. Jack was a great-grandfather to Jeremy Neatherlin, Jemma Volpato, and Randal Dawson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Henry; daughters. Elaine Volpato and Sally Henry. He was also preceeded in death by his grandson, Jon Tipton and his great-granddaughter, Laura Dawson. Jack served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII as an IBM teletype technician. Later in life, he retired after 41 years working for the Santa Fe Railroad and Amtrack. Jack was best known as an avid golfer and his love for good food. GARCIA, LEROY THOMAS Was born on May 23, 1959 in Albuquerque NM and passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Albuquerque. Leroy was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved camping and spending time with his family. He worked as a Well Driller for many years for the family business Garcia Well Drilling. Leroy was the Captain of the Bernalillo County Fire Department on South 14, in Tijeras where he was an EMT and an IV Technician. He also worked for the City of ABQ for many years where he was a critical part of the construction process for the ABQ. Bio Park and Zoo. One of Leroy's greatest accomplishments, that he felt God placed him in, was that of being directly involved in the construction and building of the Legacy Church Dome and Building. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Garcia Sr. Leroy is survived by his loving spouse of twenty years Megan Garcia; beloved mother, Stella Garcia; three children, Kelly Rodriquez and fiance Adam, Steven Garcia and fiance Maria and Tristan Garcia; nine grandchildren, who he loved dearly; one sister, Della Anderson; three brothers, Raymond Garcia Jr. and wife Tracy, Matthew Garcia and wife Jenny and Jeremy Garcia as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. COLUCCI, VIRGINIA M. 1930-2014 Virginia passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Albuquerque on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mildred. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Onorio; her devoted sons, Anthony and his wife Joy, Thomas and his wife Patricia, Richard and his wife Cecilia, Daniel and his wife Kelly, and Vince and his wife Denise; and her adoring grandchildren, Emily, Zacharias, Hannah, Isabella, Caterina, and Gianna. Born in Pittsburgh, PA and a resident of Albuquerque for 42 years, Virginia loved New Mexico and she and Onorio raised their family here. A warm and loving person of great emotional strength, she was a dedicated wife and mother and worked hard all her life. She and Onorio owned and operated an Albuquerque real estate company. She was known and loved as an active real estate professional for over 25 years, and helped many, many people find the perfect home. Virginia was Century 21's New Mexico Sales Agent of the Year for over 10 consecutive years. She will be dearly missed and always remembered by all who knew her. BRIDGES, JOHN MICHAEL Age 48, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away January 15, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born March 20, 1965 in Shreveport, LA to Merry Hall Bridges and J.E. Bridges John Michael Bridges was a happy, enthusiastic, and energetic man who loved his life and lived it to the fullest. He had a deep appreciation for life, motorcycles, music, sports, and his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. John Michael grew up between Shreveport, Louisiana and Kirtland, New Mexico. He graduated at the top of his class from Kirtland Central High School. He graduated from Louisiana Tech with an Associates Degree in Plate Tectonic Theory. He worked in the oil field for over 20 years, starting as a hand (worm) and working up to the title of Tool-pusher. In 2006, John Michael and his wife, Trinette, moved to Albuquerque to begin a new journey. John Michael enrolled at Central New Mexico Community College in the health field. He soon changed his major to Pre-Management and received an Associates Degree in Pre-Management, Integrated Studies, and General Studies. He worked as a student employee for CNM and rose through the ranks to work in the President's Office at CNM in Planning and Budget. He resigned from CNM as an administrative coordinator in The Distance Learning department where he was instrumental with the assisting online students to be successful in their online courses. John Michael had a strong Christian faith and a fierce love for the Lord. He read his Bible daily and looked to the Lord for guidance and direction. John Michael and Trinette were fortunate to have found each other and were grateful for the 12 years they had together. They married on April 5, 2004 and loved each other with a passion not known to most. John Michael loved his children and wanted to be the best Dad ever. John Michael will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents John G. and Frances Hall. He is survived by his wife, Trinette; sons Brandon Stock (Mandy), A.J. Bell, John Ashton Bridges, Daegan Michael Turney, Alec Michael Bridges; daughter Dahn Renee Leidy; mother, Merry Hall Bridges; father, J.E. BLUNT, ROBERT &Quot;BOB&Quot; On Saturday morning, January 18, 2014, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, Robert F. Blunt passed away peacefully in his home. Born October 15, 1923 in Steelville, MO, he was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Maya; his step-children, Marcus, Larissa; grandchildren, Shayla Roeder, Tsaaron Marcus Roeder, Nicholas Roeder, Katia Haley Haight. Robert faithfully served his country in WWII at the age of 19, stationed in the South Pacific. BARNHILL, BENJAMIN F. &Quot;BARNEY&Quot; Born November 2, 1923 in Moorhouse, Missouri. Mr. Barnhill passed January 13, 2014. He was a Sergeant in the Army Air Corps, receiving an honorable discharge in 1945. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force Reserves receiving an honorable discharge in 1952. After leaving the service, he joined the Civil Service. He retired from the Civil Service in 1979. He moved with his wife, Joyce, to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1987 where together they fully enjoyed retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years. ZYWICA, SANDRA JEAN Born Jan. 12, 1938 in Menomonie, Wisconsin, Sandra was preceded in death by her father Howard and mother Genevieve Caturia, as well as a sister Geraldine Lanter and a son Barry Quirke. She was a successful realtor at Severna Park, Maryland and Chesapeake, Virginia. She was loved dearly by all and will be greatly missed. She was cremated and there were no planned services.

WILDAU, MATTHEW Age 81, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, January 20, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Corinne A. Wildau; children Matthew J. Wildau and wife Regina of Albuquerque, Marybeth Smith of Albuquerque; his sister, Anna M. Gnieser of Ridge, NY; grandchildren Danielle, Matthew, Robert, Shannon, William and many other family and friends. Mr. Wildau was preceded in death by his parents Max and Elizabeth Wildau and his sister, Frances Bochicchio. He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War and received his Bachelors Degree from New York University. Matt retired from American Furniture after 39 years where he was a manager, trainer and salesman. He was a longtime active member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, January 23, 2014, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming Chapel with family sharing about his life story. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 24, 2014, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont NE, Albuquerque. Interment will take place Monday, January 27, 2014, 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, 5:00 6:00 p.m. preceding the Rosary.
