PARTIN, KENDRA MARIE ANN Kendra Marie Ann Partin, daughter of Carolynn Dulaney of Estancia, and Lloyd Partin of Wichita, Kansas, step-parents Jeff Dulaney and Wanda Partin. Kendra was a loving mother to her beautiful son Logan Michael Sanchez-Partin, age 6, who was the center of her life. She was very close to her four brothers Paul age 34, Jeremiah age 32, Cory age 22 and Jefferson age 16 who counted on her to keep the family together while always having fun. Our little girl entered the world on April 9, 1983 in Campbell County Hospital, Gillette, Wyoming, kicking and screaming like no other obviously with something important to say. Kendra lived in Gillette for nine years where she began home schooling and caring for her brothers that she loved so dearly. Her family moved to Estancia, New Mexico in 1992 where her father worked as a line manager for Cutter Aviation and her mother was a science teacher at Estancia Middle School. She graduated a year early from Estancia High School in 2002 where she achieved good grades throughout school, excelled in sports, loved horseback riding and loved God and family, Kendra was blessed with a second summer home in Hill City, South Dakota where she helped her grandmother Mary Cornelison operate a cattle ranch. Naturally gifted in the arts and fashion, Kendra pursued a career modeling and teaching ballet for children in Estancia. Kendra planned to attend cosmetology school this year with dreams of opening a salon in Albuquerque shortly thereafter. She had a loving relationship of four years with her fiance Mark Kobi of Los Alamos with recent plans to marry. Acting as interior designer and decorator, she recently built her dream home in North East Albuquerque where she found happiness for herself and Logan while regularly entertaining her family and many friends. For Kendra, God was the number one thing in life and her dreams and hope came from him. God made Kendra delicate. She was like a beautiful wildflower whose time is short but beauty so special we will never forget. She is with the other angels now. A viewing will be today, February 18th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at French Funeral Home, 10500 Lomas NE. LEEN, ADELAIDE (LOLLY) Y. Dec 29, 1914 - Jan 29, 2014 At 99, her life spanned nearly a century, but unlike the changing times she lived in, her devotion to her family & friends never wavered. Raised in a large happy family by her loving widowed mother, she gave her own children the same carefree childhood, educating and introducing them all to the wonders of the world. She shipped off to India in 1955 with her Foreign Service husband and a young family of six, where she worked with a small group of embassy wives to provide the beds (and even a couple of kittens) for Mother Teresa's orphanage in Delhi. In the evenings she frequently entertained in her role as an Embassy wife. She called her family "Taj-aholics" when she and her husband couldn't resist frequent family day-trips to wander the gardens of the Taj Mahal. Sunrise over rice-paddy-lined roads were a regular event, as she and her family traveled the length and breadth of India, from Kashmir and the Himalayan Hill Stations, to the beaches of Madras, Bombay, and Ceylon. Five years later when leaving New Delhi she moved her brood around the world alone (with 20 trunks and suitcases) to get them into American schools, while her husband finished up his tour in India. Just eighteen months later she left her American home again, this time moving her family to the Republic of Panama. A talented artist, her local Panama Canal Zone exhibitions attracted praise from The Miami Herald. Eventually she and her family were evacuated from Panama during that country's violent political unrest in 1964. She grew up three "blocks" from her husband in midtown Manhattan. As children they swam off the 53rd Street pier on the East River. They married during WWII, and remained devoted to each other for sixty-one years. They moved to Albuquerque with their daughter Theresa, following Mr. Leen's final post, in Viet Nam, and his subsequent retirement. They lived half their married life in their happy retirement home on Hiawatha NE, attending St. Bernadette's Catholic Church for thirty-five years, and later John XXIII Catholic Community. Since her husband's passing on July 2, 2005, her son, Dennis, Jr., has been her devoted caregiver and companion. She is survived by her children Lorraine Leen, Dennis Leen, Jr., and Theresa Chauvet; her grandchildren Griffin Leen-Sohl, Skye Leen, Jenifer Herrmann Bowers, Melissa Chauvet, and Michael Chauvet. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Liam and Patrick Leen, and Loretta Bowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, Sr., and her daughter Loretta Leen Herrmann. Adelaide is greatly missed. Please visit our online guestbook for Lolly at www.riversidefunerals.com

Mo's inspiring and faith-based earthly journey began on Sept. 12, 1933 in the northern New Mexico village of Chamita. He was the fourth of eight children who grew up on an apple and chile farm in the Espanola Valley. His was a life of multiple missions. Service to his country as an Army veteran, devotion to the Lord as a member of the Penitentes Brotherhood; a college graduate from the University of Albuquerque, and his career as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. An avid and accomplished golfer, Mo for many years competed in amateur tournaments throughout the state. He loved spending time working on his garden and impeccable backyard. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan who among the few things remaining on his bucket list at the time of his passing was the hope the Cubs would win a World Series during his lifetime. Mo's greatest gift though was his unconditional love and unwavering devotion to his family. He was the rock, the go-to guy for the Herrera and Vallejos families. He was a man who opened his heart as easily as he opened the door to his home to those he touched and those who sought to touch him. He was a unique and wondrous man with a sense of humor to match.
