She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria and Emilia; husband, Johnny; brother, Frank. MICONO, JEFF E. Age 96, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1968, was called Home on Friday, June 27, 2014. He was born on October 10, 1917 in Borgofranco, Italy. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 72 years, Lillian Micono; two sons, Raymond and John. Jeff is survived by four sons and their spouses, Jeff and Mary Anne, Mark and Joyceln, Peter and Georgann and James and Narcissa; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Jeff served as a Fireman in New York City before moving west. He also was a veteran of World War II, having seen action in Europe from July 1943 to November 1945. He was an accomplished musician mastering the Trumpet, Guitar and Mandolin. Jeff also had a second career with USPS, serving until his retirement, as the first-ever carpenter appointed in New Mexico. He also served as an "Altar Boy" at the Felician Sisters Convent for many years. The recitation of the Rosary will be held at 9:00 am, with the celebration of the Mass following at 9:30 am, Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Convent Chapel, 4210 Meadowlark Lane SE, Rio Rancho, NM. He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Felicia and Leanna; son Ruben Martinez Jr; grandchildren Joslyn, Anthony and Adrian; mother Camila; brothers Anthony and spouse Jane, Leroy Anaya, Victor Martinez and Alex Martinez; sisters Lucille and partner Dennis Chavez, Sylvia and spouse Leroy Griego and Maria Martinez; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. GONZALES, ESTANISLAO (STAN) 1928-2014 Estanislao (Stan) Gonzales (86), resident of Albuquerque, was called to rest by the Lord on July 1, 2014. Stan was born on May 3, 1928 on a ranch in San Antonio, New Mexico to parents Lugarda and Antonio Jose Gonzales who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Trina; four daughters, Evelyn Contreras (husband Tom), Talaya Trigueros (husband Tony), Vanessa Ardon (husband Carlos), Betina McCracken (husband Steve); grandchildren, Michelle Kidwell, Lisa Gutierrez, Bianca Aguilar, Talaya Ramirez, Nikolai Trigueros, Anaisa Ardon, Mariano Ardon; 11 great- grandchildren; siblings Cecilia Gallegos, Isabelle Serna, and Nestor Gonzales; and dozens of nieces and nephews. Stan was a lifelong rancher and cowboy, a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1950, and a retired teamster who drove a semi-truck for ICX. But his true passion was his family. A Rosary will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW in Albuquerque at 8:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 9:00 a.m. A reception will be held at the church hall following the funeral services. Stan will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery following the reception.

EARL, JOYCE LANGFORD Joyce Langford Earl, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Joyce was born on June 12, 1928, in Globe, Arizona. She spent most of her youth in Utah. She learned to love New Mexico after moving here in 1967. Joyce was an administrative secretary with Albuquerque Public Schools for 25 years and was well-loved and respected. She worked with the New Mexico State Legislature for several years after retiring from APS. Joyce had a life-long love of music. She was an accomplished pianist and traveled with a band in her younger years, before marriage. She also had a life-long love of language and books which she imparted to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles Jay Earl. She is survived by her children Cydney Earl, Kevin Earl, Lezlee Murphey; her grandchildren Andrew Aranda, William Aranda, Hunter Earl, Matthew Sanders, Kirstin Murphey, Sarah Murphey; and by her great-grandson Gavin Sanders. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. MAXWELL, TOMMY L. July 21, 1940 in Salado, TX July 1, 2014 in Santa Fe, NM Tommy L. Maxwell, 73, a star athlete at Santa Fe High School in the 1960's, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, with family at his side. Husband, father, brother, uncle, Elder in the Santa Fe South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and minister, he was a man of his word. He was born July 21, 1940, to Walter Maxwell and Daisy (Felder) Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight of his twelve siblings. Tommy is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his daughters: Michele Maxwell, Karen (Daniel C de Baca) and Shannon Maxwell. His siblings: Charles Maxwell (Loretta) Santa Fe, NM; Lilly Cooke (Phoenix, AZ); Ruth Ann Taylor (Las Vegas, NV); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Over the course of his life, Tommy lived in Roswell, NM where he and his family worked as farmers. Eventually, he and his family relocated to Santa Fe, NM. As a teen he was well-known as an athlete at Santa Fe High School where he was a halfback on the football team, and a member of the track team, which were activities that his future wife, Charlotte enjoyed watching and supporting him; years later he was employed by Colony Materials, which became Western Mobile, and ultimately became LaFarge North America, for 40+ years as a cement truck driver, Batch Plant Operator, and in sales. After retiring, he went to work for Santa Fe Classic Rock (Eker Brothers Landscaping). He loved helping people and got along with everyone he came in contact with. People frequently commented about how well-dressed he always was and how shiny his dress shoes were. He was a very kind-hearted person, a loving father and husband. He was always happy and had a great smile no matter what. He generously gave of his time, energy, and resources. He was very hospitable. He enjoyed spending time gardening and working on his yard's landscape. He was a member of the Regional Building Committee for the construction of Kingdom Halls throughout New Mexico. He will be deeply missed. Special thanks to all the numerous loving friends Dad made over the years. Our family thanks Gentiva Hospice; Medicap Pharmacy; New Mexico Heart Institute (Albuquerque, NM); and Lovelace Hospital (Albuquerque, NM). FITZGIBBON, MARJORIE L. Marjorie L. (Tuthill) Fitzgibbon passed on June 26, 2014 at the family home. She was born October 29, 1923 to Francis A. and Dorothy Tuthill in Westbury, New York. Marjorie had lived here in Albuquerque since September of 1962. Most of her working career was in the medical field, the Medical Laboratory at Lovelace-Battan, then Nursing and Phlebotomy at BCMC (UNMH). Mom raised and is survived by her five children: Gary (Erin) Fitzgibbon, Robin (Rich) Gettings, Tracey Fitzgibbon, Dorelle Goon, and Wendy Carpenter; her four grandsons: Michael, Robert, Gregory and Matthew; four great-grandchildren: Michael N., Damian, Samantha and Hailey; also her sister, Mary Lee (Tuthill) Horvath. BEATY, OTIS LEE JR. (TORO) entered the presence of God, July 2, 2014. Otis was born in Pampa, Texas on November 11, 1926 to Otis Lee Beaty Sr. and Audrey Mae Gilcrease. After his father's death in 1934 Otis and his mom moved to Santa Fe. He attended Santa Fe Schools until his enrollment in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17, where he served in the Asia Pacific region during WWII. Otis married Nina Farmer, December 12, 1948 and was employed by Reynolds Electric Company until 1964 at which time he opened "Beaty Electric Co.". He Served on various boards including: "New Mexico Construction Industries Commission", "Century Federal Bank" and a New Mexico Governor of the "National Electric Contractor's Association". His greatest delight was his relationship with Jesus Christ, Nina his wife of 65-yrs, his family and his service in the Gideons of Santa Fe, of which he was a founding member. He was preceded in death by: his parents; stepfather; Bill Bindel, brother; John Bindel and grandson; Patrick Catanach. Otis is survived by his wife Nina (whom he lovingly referred to as "Miss Joyce"); sons David (Deslee), Tom (Michelle); daughters Cheryl Bonino (Vince), Paula Beaty, Gail Flowers and good friends, Carl (his coffee drinking buddy) and wife Ruby Lea; grandchildren Shiloh Pennington (Jesse), Chandler Huston (Becca), Brandon Beaty, Bryant Beaty, Christipher Catanach, Desiree Catanach, Taylor Bonio, Austin Bonino and Kyle Bonino; great-grandchildren Paige and Baylor Pennington, Bryce and Grayson Huston. Billy served in the U.S. Air Force, with honor and valor, retiring after twenty years of service. WELLER, MAYME IRENE Age 101, born on January 28, 1913 near Fort Gibson, OK, a member of the Cherokee Nation, passed away on June 30, 2014. She is survived by her two children, Faye Ward and partner, Lawrence Jaramillo, and Joe G. Weller and wife, Martha; daughter-in-law, Mildred Weller; seven grandchildren, Cole Ward and wife, Jan, Cherokee Spellacy and husband, Brian, Jodie Marshall and husband, Bill, Wauhillau Erbe and husband, Kevin, Randy Weller and wife, Virginia, Sondra Bass and husband, Randy, and Fred Weller; 17 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Glad and wife, Ethel; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Mayme was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; son, Louis L. Weller; grandson, Frank Weller; and granddaughter, Dawna Weller. She attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, KS as a young lady and worked for many years after. She worked for Fort Wingate Ammunition Depot and later for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She often joked that she has been retired longer than she worked. During her life, she enjoyed spending time with family and many friends, she was a member of Haskell Club of NM, and enjoyed bowling and traveling. Mayme took great joy in cooking and providing a meal for all of those who visited her home. She always took great pride in her family. VANDERPOOL, KATHLEEN &Quot;KATHY&Quot; ELLEN HARMAN Age 64, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Dr. Charles H. Vanderpool of Albuquerque; her children, Virgil Howard Vanderpool of Central Point, OR, Jill Kathleen Harman of Central Point, OR, and Dr. Ruth Elizabeth Vanderpool and husband, Bryce Bockman of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Jenna, Harry, Derek, and Everest; father, Virgil Harman of Albuquerque; her sister, Carolyn Harman Turner & husband J. Roger of Tallahassee, FL; and numerous other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Harman, in 2012. Kathy was born in Oklahoma City in 1949 and after graduation from high school, attended California Lutheran College in Thousand Oaks, CA and Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA where she received her BS in History in 1971 with some post-graduate work at the University of Oklahoma. She met Chuck Vanderpool at California Lutheran College and they were married on December 27, 1969. In Oregon, Kathy was active in the 4-H, past Guardian of Job's Daughters International, Worthy High Priestess in Nativity Shrine #10 of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Zuilema Chapter #13 of Daughters of the Nile. In Albuquerque she was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and active in Shrine #1 of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Bethel #2 of Job's Daughters. Kathy worked as office manager from 1982 to 2007 for Dr. Charles H. Vanderpool, DMD and as a mammogram tech assistant at X-Ray Associates from 2009 to 2013. She loved to embroider, knit, read and flower arrange and received her certification in Ikebana flower arranging while in Japan. Kathy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112 on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with reception to follow. Flowers are welcome or a donation in memory of Kathy may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438-0018 (800-244-4438). ULIBARRI, DWAYNE R. Age 51, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 27, 2014. Dwayne is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ginger; his sons, Dru and Garrick; his brothers, David Jr. (Mary Lou), Paul, Gilbert (Carmella), Herman (Gina), Alex (Theresa); sisters, Connie (Abran), Isabel, Mary (Robert), Evelyn, Irene, MaryAnn; and many other family including his uncles, Alfonso and Tony (Tina). He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Florinda Ulibarri; his brother, Joseph; nephew, Andrew; niece, Ninja; and several uncles and aunts. Born in Las Vegas, NM, Dwayne moved to Albuquerque after graduation from West Las Vegas High. He owned and operated Ugabees Corp, and was a gifted artist. Dwayne's greatest passion was sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband, father, and committed wholeheartedly to his family. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Blvd NE.
