CORTINAS, FRANK JOE Age 70, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, born October 10, 1942, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, April 5, 2013 with his family at his side while at home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda Cortinas whom he married on November 16, 1968 until December 11, 1978. He is survived by his children, sons, Frank Dino Cortinas and wife, Talaya, Christopher "Chaka" Horacio Cortinas and wife, Tiffany Cortinas; three grandchildren, Margeret "Cuckoo" Cortinas, Catherine Yolanda "Bobu" Cortinas, Christopher Joe Adyen "Alien" Cortinas; great-grandson, Martin Perez; in-laws, Kate and Joe Ortiz, Leroy and Priscilla Saavedra, Tomasita and Dale Winters; many loving family members and friends. He served four years in the New Mexico National Guard. Frank retired 25 years as an Aerospace Fabricator for the General Electric Jet Engine Plant. His most famous moment was being a member of "The Chunkendales" dancers. Frank was a proud owner of "Euro Body FX". Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 11, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr SW. CARLETON, MARIE Eralia Marie Carleton, 85 was born on January 16, 1928 and was called home to her Maker on April 5, 2013. She will now be able to spend eternity with her true love, husband R. F. Carleton. Marie's giving nature will be missed as she has spent many years giving to the community through many organizations, such as St. Martin Hospitality Center, Casa los Ninos, Mentor Mentee programs and donating quilts to many deserving people who needed her warmth. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and her husband. BRADFORD, MARY CATHERINE A resident of Sandia Park, NM, died early Monday morning the 8th of April 2013 in her home with her family by her side. Born 1944 in Dubuque, I.A., Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Monica Kuhl along with brother, John Kuhl. Mary graduated from High School at the Academy of the Visitation in Dubuque IA in 1962 and entered the University of Iowa in the fall, graduating with B.A. of Sociology in 1968. Following graduation, Mary lived in Boston, MA for part of 1968, then moved to Denver CO, where she worked as a social worker and met her future husband in 1969. They were married on Nov 14, 1970 in Dubuque, and subsequently lived in Nevada, Iowa, Illinois and North Carolina. Later, she continued her education at Bellevue Area Community College, receiving her Associates degree in Computer Programming in 1988 and transitioned from social work to information technology working for the Army Reserve Personal Center in St. Louis, MO. Mary and her family moved to Albuquerque NM in 1991 where she retired in 2005 as a Computer Programmer Analyst Supervisor with the State of New Mexico. Mary and her husband were avid travelers enjoying the NC beaches and New England, but her first love was always the West. She thrived on being around her family and friends and was a devoted wife, an inspirational mother and loving grandmother, "Mimi". Mary's loved ones learned something new every day from her. She enjoyed collecting breathtaking artwork and knick knacks from the many places she visited. Mary's family and friends cherished her warm and giving heart and she touched everyone she met. Mary had a bright smile, unforgettable eyes and an amazingly strong heart. Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, Steven C. Bradford; her two daughters, Kelly Bradford and Katie (Dean) Karch; three grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon and Rachel. BECK, BRUCE MICHAEL Age 64, a resident of Albuquerque and Tijeras since 2005, passed away March 30, 2013. He is survived by sisters, Diane Chesterfield, Janice Torbett and Barbara Whitcraft; brother, Larry Beck; as well as her nieces, Kimberly Chesterfield, Shannon Chesterfield, Jennifer Tarabini, Michelle Van de Weghe, and Karrie Whitcraft; nephew, Jonathan Beck; great-nieces; great-nephews; and friends. Roselia was a current member of Holy Family Parish, she was a former business owner in the recycling field in her spare time she enjoyed cooking and dancing and during her life was a very generous person to all. STOLLER, MARIAN MAXINE Was born May 9, 1927 in Raton, NM to Tracy Chester Mitchell and Amy Irene Mitchell. During her high school years, she was an active member of the The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and served as Worthy Advisor. She graduated from Raton High in 1945. Marian married her local Raton sweetheart, Harold Stoller Jr., on September 7, 1947. She attended the University of New Mexico for two years. While in college, she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. As newlyweds, Marian and Harold moved to Gallup, NM in 1950 as he began his pharmacy career. They then relocated to Albuquerque, established the family home, and raised three children. Marian was involved in many activities. She was past Guardian of Bethel #2 International Order of Job's Daughters, Mothers' Club for Sandia Chapter, Order of DeMolay, and a member of Central United Methodist Church. Marian's hobbies were playing Bridge, home decorating, traveling, scrapbooking family history, following the Lobo Basketball Team and spending time with her family at their Jemez Mountain cabin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. Marian is survived by her son, Jim Stoller and wife, Katie of Highland Village, TX; daughter, Sue Johnson and husband, George of Albuquerque and Lorie Stoller also of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Adam Stoller of Los Angeles, CA and Shawn Stoller and wife, Stephanie of Los Angeles, CA; brother, James Mitchell and wife, Gladyne of College Station, TX; sisters, Barbara Crawford and husband, Dale of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Robert Stoller and wife Rita of Artesia; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. SMITH, ELLIS FRANKLIN Passed away Sunday morning, April 7, 2013. Ellis was born on 27 Oct 1923 to Homer and Gracie in Logan Township, KS and served in the Navy during WWII. Ellis was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, after almost 62 years of marriage. He is survived by his Sister Mary; two younger brothers John and Curtis; sons Miles and Mark; daughter Frances; along with seven grandchildren and seven (five and two on the way) great- grandchildren.
