LARKIN, PETER J. age 57, of 610 15th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his residence. Funeral Services are 1:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. William Menzel will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Peter was born February 12, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Harold and Genevieve (McCarthy) Larkin. He married Mary H. Ogiela on November 11, 1990 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Peter worked in the construction business. Peter is survived by his wife, Mary; two sisters, Chris Larkin of Las Cruces, New Mexico Jane (Nick DeLipski) Larkin of Oregon and mother-in-law, Zdzislawa Ogiela of Chicago, IL. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Genevieve Larkin and father-in-law, Wincenty. Memorials can be given to the "Toys for Tots" program.

She went without so others could have. To make others happy made her happy. Linda will be deeply missed. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Federico Armijo; her children, DeAnn Rios, Tonya Salazar, Tommy Salazar; step-children, Chris, Mayan, and Natalie Armijo; 12 grandchildren, Dominick, Denique, Deremy, Joseph, Angelo, Destiney, Gabriel, Izriel, Aaliyah, Ezekiel, Mia and Diego. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we will also rejoice knowing Michael will be reuniting with his parents Andy and Marie. Also to greet him will be his sisters Andrea and Catherine who've all gone to awaken in the great glory of Christ. Michael is survived by his sisters Carole and Terri, their husbands, and their children; and lifelong companion, Tony Leyba. SWEETSER, MARY age 88 years, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Mountain View Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to John Riggs Stark and Goldie Irene Jones Stark on October 8, 1925 in Long Beach, California. She grew up on ranches in southern Arizona. She met her husband, Second Lieutenant Kenneth John Sweetser (Flight Officer, Air Corps, Army of the United States) in Denver, Colorado while she was attending nurses training in Boulder. They were married on May 11, 1946, at the Rafter Diamond Ranch in Whitewater, NM. She was active in Farm Bureau Women (helped start the Cotton Extravaganza), the Ninety-Nines (women's flying organization, including participation in the 30th and final Powder Puff Derby), 4-H leadership, Republican Women, Mimbres Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Golden Gossip, Cowbelles, traveling, golfing and playing bridge. She was very proud of her family and had many dear friends. She is survived by daughter Marilu Duty of Aurora, Colorado; son John Sweetser (Candie) of Deming; daughter Sue Waggoner (James) of Laramie, Wyoming; daughter Mary Hayes of Bloomfield, NM; son Martin Sweetser (Joyce) of Deming; 17 grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren; sisters Connie McCauley of Silver City, NM and Frances Brown Speight of Santa Rosa, NM; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Kenneth. Visitation will be at Baca's Funeral Chapel from 5-7 pm on Friday, December 27. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Deming (1020 S Granite) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery (3410 E. MCRAE, JOHN GORDON John Gordon McRae passed away on December 14th, 2013 peacefully at home. John had valiantly battled a long-term disease and had shown bravery and compassion throughout the long and painful years of this fight. John is survived by his brother Robert "Bob" McRae of Ohio and his wife Sandra; niece Brenda and nephew Bobby; also cousins Marsha, Melinda, Heather, and Stuart. John also is survived by many dear friends who considered him family. John was preceded in death by the love of his life and long-time companion, Michael Justice. He was also preceded by his father Bruce A. McRae and his mother Antonia Cary McRae. John was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and always considered New Mexico the only place he wanted to live even after traveling to all four corners of America. He went through grade school here and then went on to earn Bachelors and Masters Degrees in fine arts at the University of New Mexico, with an emphasis on photography. Professionally he became an Art Teacher at Los Lunas High School and was considered among the more influential teachers many of his students had the benefit of having. John loved art in all forms and would share this love with his many friends in the form of gifts such as hand-painted photographs that we will treasure for the rest of our days. John had a great appreciation for life and beauty and expressed this through his devotion to his dearly loved pets and his wonderful lush gardens. John gave much of himself to his friends and will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing to know and love him back. Donations can be made to the Southwest Care Center in Santa Fe and Animal Humane New Mexico. A memorial and celebration of John's life will be held in the coming spring, his favorite time of the year.
