MASCI, EVANDRO SILVIO passed away on November 14, 2013 in Paradise Valley, Arizona at the age of 90. He was born to Vincenzo and Domenica Masci in Poggio Picente, Italy on September 5, 1923. He emigrated to the United States at the age of 14 with his brother through Ellis Island to Durango, Colorado. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1943-1945 in the Gilbert and Marshall Islands in the Pacific Theater. After an Honorable Discharge, he became an electrician. He returned to Gallup, New Mexico where he started Andy's Trading Company Inc in 1961 and retired to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987. He enjoyed playing cards, gardening, dancing and traveling to California. He is survived by his sister Donatina Masci in Trieste, Italy. He is survived by children: Sylvia Masci of Litchfield Park, AZ., Dr. Vance Masci of Milwaukee, WI., Elizabeth McAlister of Glendale, AZ., Gregory Masci and wife Cambria of Gallup, NM; Grandchildren: Athena Masci of New York, NY, Miles Masci of Boston, MA, Neil McAlister of Glendale, AZ, Giuliano Masci of Waco, TX. Visitation: 4:00pm to 8:00pm Rosary: Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 8:15 pm Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary at 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 22, 2013, 12 noon at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3801 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ. This is followed by 1:30 pm interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Corradino. Please visit
