RAEBURN, ALEXANDER N. MAJOR (RET) February 25, 1922- September 21, 2013 Alexander Raeburn passed away September 21, 2013. Alex was born in Musselburgh, Scotland on February 25, 1922 to John C. Raeburn and Alice (Livingston) Raeburn and moved to the U.S. with his family in 1927. He is survived by his three daughters and their families and two step-children and their families. Alex was a U.S. Air Force officer and a pilot. He and his family retired to Albuquerque in 1972 after a 30-year career. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating Alex's life will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. One of Alex's passions was providing coats for children each year through one of his favorite charities. In lieu of flowers, please consider bringing a new winter coat to the memorial service to be given to disadvantaged children through the "From the Heart" Foundation, 300 San Mateo Blvd NE Suite B-2, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
