TIETJEN, LARRY "JOE" age 82 born October 7, 1931 passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 8, 2013. Son of Thomas Jefferson Tietjen and Edna Beatrice Berryhill Tietjen. He was preceded in death by his brother Wallace, father Jeff, sister Sheryl and mother Edna. He is survived by his children, Tammy A. Tietjen, J. Lee Tietjen, Joseph E. Tietjen, (Tina), Tara N. Porter, (Sean), Lila J. Smiel (Scott) and step-children, Julie A. Ledbetter and Janet L. Anderson (Mark). He is also survived by grandchildren Sebastian and Britnee Tietjen, Clayton and Collin Anderson, Tabitha and David Smiel. The funeral will be held Friday Dec 13, 2013 at 10:00AM with a 9:00AM viewing at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 160 James Court, Los Lunas, NM 87031. Burial will be in Datil, NM. A special thanks to Manzano del Sol, Home Care Assistance and Lola for the loving care provided during his final months and years.
