HANNIGAN, ROBERT LEE &Quot;BOB&Quot; Age 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Friday, December 13, 2013. He is survived by children, Janet (Dan) Blacklock, Carol (Brad) Jenkins, Deborah (Jim) Poland, Mark (Catherine) Hannigan, Suzanne (Bob) Owens, and Kathleen Gilliland; grandchildren, Dr. Lisa Blacklock, Brian Blacklock (Mica), David Blacklock (Rachel), Robert Poland (Valerie), Dr. Megan Molleck (Nick), Beth Darnell (Matt), Kevin Hannigan, Shannon Jenkins and Sarah Hannigan; five great-grandchildren, Josiah, Hannah, Aaron, Joshua and Moriah. Bob was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jane; his parents; three brothers and two sisters. Bob was a WWII and Korean Conflict veteran of the USAF. He was an Electrical Engineer graduate of the University of Kentucky and was a life-long Wildcat Fan. He was instrumental in the lunar landings and deep space exploration. He retired in 1986 from Sandia Labs. Bob was a kind and humble man who enjoyed gardening and was an avid bowler. Bob was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, Tennessee at Lomas NE. The Rosary will follow at 10:30 a.m.. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
