MARTINEZ, AMBROSIO age 67, a resident of Albuquerque, born in Martinez Town, NM, passed away on March 1, 2013 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Margie; children, Dorothy Marrujo and husband, Phil, Alex Lovato and wife, Nanette, Lorrie Lujan and husband, Wayne, Melinda Garcia and husband, Art; his mother, May Martinez; brother, James Martinez and wife, Dorothy; Goddaughter, Ashley Lujan; grandchildren, Vanessa, Rochelle, Anthony, Adam, Dominic, Mercy, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren, Roman III, Feliz, Zack, and Ashley; nephews and nieces, James, Adrienne, Denise, Dolores, Diana, and Rick; and many extended family members. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his father, Candido Martinez; and brother, Richard Martinez. Ambrosio was a member of the Catholic Church; Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam Era; was retired from A.P.S. after forty-one years of service as a Locksmith. Ambrosio was a BIG time supporter of the Albuquerque High Bulldog, and loved spending time at his ranch in Martinez Town, NM. He was a very giving person, always willing to help others. Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mary Alice Martinez. Final visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Martinez Cemetery, Martinez Town, NM. Pallbearers will be Alex Lovato, Wayne Lujan, Adam Lujan, Anthony Lujan, James Martinez, and Rick Martinez.
