GRACE, WILLIE M. Willie M. Grace born July 3, 1963. Went home to be with our lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2014. He was born in Newport News Virginia. Willie relocated to Albuquerque in the early 80's and became an Albuquerque resident. He attended TVI and became an L.P.N. He then attended The University of Phoenix and achieved a bachelors in nursing. After working in the medical field for over a decade he attained his masters degree with a focus in nursing leadership in May of 2013. As a nurse for 23 years Willie treated hundreds of patients and touched so many lives during his time at the University of New Mexico Hospital, Lovelace Health Systems and finally Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Willie had a passion for writing and frequently penned poems. He was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop David and Elder Nina Cooper. He is survived by mother, Leola G. Mohummad; sisters, Lola, and Veatrice; his brothers, Edward, and Leo; nieces, Nicole and Monique; nephew, Dereck; and great-nephews, Kahlil and Kaleb.
