SHELLY, CECIL E. Age 85, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He is preceded by his parents, Frank and Margarete Shelly; ex-wife, Mary Shelly and wives, Nelle Shelly and Mary Lucille Shelly; as well as daughter, Molly Finch McDaniel. He is survived by his brother, Mick Shelly; sister, Mable Hudson and sister, Susie Kujovich. He is survived by his children, Daniel McDaniel, Melissa Sanchez, Nina Brisnehan, Sara White, Mark Shelly, and Frank Shelly; grandchildren, Kristin Trask, Kyle Shelly, Kevin Shelly, Shelly White, Jennifer Stewart, Suzanne Musick, Steven McDaniel, Samuel Sanchez, Selena Sanchez, and Heather Finch; ten great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Cecil served in the Army for nine years. Cecil worked for Mitchell Service Equipment Company and Eberline Instruments. Cecil was an avid square dancer and enjoyed outdoor activities. Cecil was a kind, gentle man, wonderful mentor and father. Everyone who met him liked him. His many friends included many he met at various senior centers. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
