CASIAS, ARTHUR D. Arthur Donald Casias, age 60, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 6, 1953. Art was a very creative man who enjoyed watching and playing sports. He also spent endless hours perfecting his photography and woodworking skills. Art is survived by his parents, Eugene and Dorothy Casias; children, Burgandy Snyder, Simone Casias, and Rachel Casias; grandchildren, Ty Martinelli, Rylee Martinelli, and Zoey Alvarez; his siblings, Theresa (Andres Vallejo) Casias, Cecilia Casias, Danny Casias, Elaine (Ramon) Armijo, Diane (Craig) Hall, and Tom (Kari) Casias. He is also survived by his long time soulmate, Alison Nawman; and his bulldog, Chardonnay. Art is preceded in death by his grandmother, Agnes Casias; grandparents, Pete and Julia Duran; and his biological mother, Renetta Casias. A Memorial Service will be held at one o'clock pm on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at The Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris St NE, Albuquerque, NM, with a reception to follow.
