KINGSBURY, DAVID CLARE beloved husband and father, passed away the morning of March 10, 2013 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, March 15th at Charity Lutheran Church, Bismarck. He is survived by his wife, Georgia (Miller); children Kathy (James) Bunting of Golden, CO; Laura Anderson of Castle Rock, CO; Eileen (Sheldon) Chipp of Fallon, NV; David Kingsbury, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM; and Richard (Amber) Kingsbury of Edgewood, NM. David also had two 'adopted' stepsons: Al Echeverria of Golden, CO and Viktor Forsell of Linkoping, Sweden . David is also survived by his brother, Paul Kingsbury of Albuquerque, NM; Georgia's daughters Lori Buck of Crystal, MN and Gwen (Randy) Nagel of Bismarck, ND; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. David served in the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in Korea from 1952-1954 and was honorably discharged. David was commissioned into the New Mexico State Police in 1957 and retired as a Major in 1985. David and Annette moved to Bismarck, ND where he began a second career working for the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for the State of ND. He retired from the State of ND in April, 1995. Annette passed away in 1993. David married Georgia Miller in 1994 with whom he enjoyed 18 years. In their retirement years they traveled in their fifth wheel camper to all the states west of the Mississippi River, several states to the east, and various Canadian provinces. David and Georgia also traveled to Sweden to attend the wedding of Viktor Forsell. In 1994 David joined Charity Lutheran Church where he and Georgia have remained active members. There he participated in the Alpha program, was Director of the Lay Ministry Board for a period of time, participated in Bible studies, and for a considerable number of years, assisted Georgia in organizing and setting up the Lord's Supper. Dave was active in fishing and hunting, wood carving, was an avid reader and had a great love for classical music. A private burial will be at the Veterans National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico, where there will be military honors at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Charity Lutheran Church, Altar Guild (Sacristy Needs) or to Special Olympics. Go to
