TORREZ, ESTHER OSTOLIA (BROWN) Age 87, was born August 29,1925 and died March 18, 2013, after a sudden illness. Ashes will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in a private ceremony. She was preceded in death by husband, John and children, Johnny and Mary Ellen Torrez; also siblings Elsie (Brown) Chavez, George, Tommy, Abie and Freddie Brown. She is survived by her son Leroy, son Gerald and wife, Denita; grandchildren, Eddie Trujillo, Amanda Torrez and Marisa Torrez. She is survived by siblings, Stella (Cruz) Tafoya, Alice (Jim) McBride, Kathy Wiggins, Lee Cassidy, Lydia (Bob) Blevins, Robert (Amy) Brown, Phillip Brown, Jean (Dwain) Glidewell, family and friends. Esther lived her life with unshakable faith in Christ and an abiding love for her family. She was a sweet and joyful spirit, never judging anyone; humble and kind to all, content in every circumstance. She was our matriarch and will be greatly missed. Memorial service scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2013 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Church, 7201 Central N.W.
