SEDILLO, ABEL Was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 4, 1943 to Abel Sedillo and Sally Martinez Sedillo. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Dina Apodaca Sedillo; his son, Abel James Sedillo; daughter, Anita Sedillo; grandchildren, Alejandro Sedillo, Joaquin Sedillo and great grandson, Aaron Sedillo; brothers, Michael Sedillo, Andy Sedillo, Luis Sedillo and wife, Grace; sisters, Merlinda Sedillo Welch, Angie Ella Sedillo Romero and husband, Jim; sister-in-law, Delia Ortiz and husband, Alfonso; brothers-in-law, Luciano Apodaca, Jimmy Apodaca and wife, Berna and numerous nieces and nephews. Abel was a veteran of the US Navy and traveled the world. His favorite places were Japan and the Philippines. He retired from Yellow Freight where he worked for 20 years. He had a great love for his family. He loved fishing, hunting, playing golf, camping, the mountains and a true love for animals of all kinds. He had a great love for all of those things but because of a long illness, he was no longer able to do all of those things that he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel Sedillo and Sally Martinez Sedillo and his son, Stephen Sedillo. Pallbearers will be Michael Sedillo, Andy Sedillo, Luis Sedillo, Steve, Robert and Tom Ortiz. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, May 4, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH Lomas. ROLAN, CHRIS STEVE Our beloved CHRIS STEVE ROLAN, age 30, of Albuquerque, NM, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 20, 2014. Chris was born in Dinuba, CA on August 13, 1983 to Bill Dean Rolan and Theresa Maria Rolan. He is survived by his mother Theresa Rolan; four siblings: Robert Garcia; Frank Garcia; Dean Rolan; Arianna Rolan; and nine nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his grandma Lackey and many other family and friends. Specialist Rolan was a great and honorable man who served his country, four years as a medic in the United States Army. "For the greatest gift of all, which covers a multitude of sins and casts out all fears." (NKJV)..... love, is the legacy he leaves behind in the hearts of those who knew him. RICHARDSON, WILLIAM "BILL" Age 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Minnie L. Richardson; children, Mike Richardson, Anna Redding and husband, Matt, Robert Richardson and wife, Jennifer, and Pat Richardson; grandchildren, Jeff, Debi, Sydney, Aaron, Jennifer, Ally, Stephen, and Sarah; great-grandson, Opie; sisters, Mildred Kimball and husband, Warren, Frances Berg, Bobbie Sue Berg and husband, Chester, Gwen Nell Perkins and husband, Richard, and Gertie Lou Welty. RAMIREZ, ANNA MARIE March 5, 1948 - April 25, 2014 A native of Albuquerque and a graduate from Del Norte High School in 1966, former Second Judicial District Court employee who served the legal community in the Criminal Divsion for 33 years, lover of the arts, lover of classical musical, and former opera performer for over 30 years, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend, passed away from complications of diabetes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melicia. Survivors include her father Fortunato; siblings Virginia, Larry and Rebecca. She will be deeply missed by all especially by her special long time companion and friend Rosa, and her "babies" Coco and Maya. NUNEZ, FILIBERTO JR. Filiberto Nunez, Jr., age 77, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He served in the U.S. Navy from December 1954 to December 1958. He was a retired electrician from his business Duke City Electrical Company. In his early years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Later in his life, he was fan of NASCAR and watched them faithfully on tv. He is survived by his son, Phillip Nunez; daughter Julie and husband, Benjie Gonzales; and Juanita and husband, Sonny Archuleta; granddaughter, Jessica Nunez; step-grandchildren, Stephanie and husband, Tarl McCarthy; Andrew Archuleta and wife, Dayra; Benetta and husband, Celso Garcia, and Benjamin Gonzales; six great- grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Filiberto and Juanita Nunez; his sisters Gregoria Lopez, Carmen Martinez, Frances Nunez, Josie Gonzales, Claudia Estrada, Bertha Romero, and Lupe Sturtcman; and many friends and family that passed before him. He is also survived by his sisters: Adela Montes of Azusa, CA; and Caroline Alderete of Albuquerque and many nephews, nieces, and extended family. MORROW, HAZEL Hazel Morrow peacefully passed away the evening of April 29, 2014. Born Hazel Marian Baker on August 29, 1921, to P. R. and Dora Case Baker in Sabetha, Kansas, Hazel became an avid reader, teacher, professional musician, choir director, executive secretary, editor, and beloved Sunday School teacher among a variety of other occupations in Hayes, Kansas, Rocky Ford, Colorado, Roswell, and Albuquerque. Hazel attended Ft. Hayes College and the University of New Mexico. She married Findley Morrow in 1945 and raised four children; after the death of Findley and almost fifty years of marriage, she wed Virgil Stormo in 1998. Virgil died in January, 2014. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church, Albuquerque, for seven decades. She is survived by her children, Baker Morrow and wife, JoAnn Strathman, Julia Huchmala and husband, John, Rosalind Cooper and husband, Terry, all of Albuquerque, and Thomas Morrow and wife, Sherry of Aurora, CO; stepchildren, Gary Stormo and wife, Sue of Loveland, CO, Ron Stormo and wife, Monica of Lone Pine, CA, and Sally Bjork and husband, Bob of Antioch, CA; grandchildren, John M. Huchmala, Matthew Huchmala, Clinton Anderson, Philip Hanney, Lauren Anderson, Kendra Lamb, Marian Camacho, and Susan Morrow; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous dear step-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a visitation Sunday, May 4, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and a memorial service Monday, May 5, at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas NE. MCCALLISTER, HARVEY LERAY On April 29, 2014, Harvey went to be with Jesus after a long battle with many health issues. At the time of his passing, Harvey was surrounded and comforted by family members in his home at Brookdale Place Valencia in Albuquerque, NM. Harvey was 79 years old. Harvey is survived by the love of his life, Virginia, his wife of 55 years; their three sons, Gene, Roy, & Daryl along with their families and many others in his extended family. Harvey was preceded in death by his brother Joe and his nephew Johnny. Harvey was born in Pasadena, California on January 17, 1935. He grew up in the North Hollywood area of California. After graduating from Verdugo Hills High School, he enlisted and served in the United States Coast Guard from 1951 through 1959. He moved to Albuquerque in 1958 where he met and married Virginia (nee Gaugler). He worked as a commercial printer until 1972 and then started McCallister's Piano Service, working as a piano technician and tuner for over 30 years. Harvey loved to be outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine. He enjoyed crafting things and made beautiful useful items out of wood. He was an accomplished musician who loved to play the organ, piano and accordion. He played for worship services at Valley Christian Reformed Church in Albuquerque that later was renamed Fellowship Christian Reformed Church of which he was a member. He loved interacting with people, having fun with them and sharing a good cup of coffee. While many people touched Harvey's life, his family would like to thank Carolyn, Tasha, Terri and Edith "Dee Dee" from Hospice of New Mexico for the care they provided Harvey. A special thank you to Dr. Francesco Standoli for his constant care and comforting voice of reason and to Kristi Bemis for helping us navigate through appointments and paperwork. And thank you will never be enough to the entire staff of Brookdale Place at Valencia for the love and care they gave Harvey for the past four years - we will be forever grateful for everything all of you did for Harvey. In keeping with Harvey's memory, a very informal memorial service (jeans, boots, casual wear) will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 4800 Indian School Rd, NE, Albuquerque, NM with lots of coffee and goodies to follow. A memorial service will also be held at Brookdale Place Valencia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to your favorite charity in Harvey's memory.

LEWIS, ADAM R. Adam R. Lewis, 70, returned to his origin on 4/3/14 after a life filled with creativity, laughter, compassion, and grace. Spending his last fifteen years in Corrales, Adam was born 6/6/43 in Albuquerque; later living in San Francisco CA and Hawaii. Preceded in death by Ron Aichner, his partner of thirty years; he is survived by his niece, Juliana Jojola (Lakewood, WA), sister Gloria Jojola (CA), partner Larry Morton and faithful companion Sandia. Also, his loving friends Shawn Carrol (Denver CO), Gwen Martin, Judi and Chuck Huff, Jessica Hough, Mollie Ferguson, Martha Egan, Tom and Sally Burns, Dorothy Grandbois, Andy Klein, Agnes and Fernando Chavez will treasure his gentle spirit. Adam attended Albuquerque HS, University of New Mexico and after serving in the US Army; he attended and taught at the San Francisco Art Institute. An accomplished and nationally recognized painter specializing in airbrush; his artwork was displayed throughout NM, CA and Hawaii. In Hawaii, Adam opened a gourmet restaurant and catering company which they owned for eight years. They catered for Bill Graham Music Productions traveling with many famous bands. When he wasn't creating his visionary, spirit filled paintings; Adam's Kimo Design Studio kept him busy designing and building ponds for the last decade. Adam was very metaphysical and his life was a meditation on creativity, beauty and transformation. Mr. Espinosa was a member of the Catholic Church, a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, Company C, 3rd Engineer Combat Battalion. Mr. Espinosa was the proud owner of Ric's Store on Atrisco for thirty-nine years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Durante; children, Don Durante Jr. and wife, Linda, Diana Baird and husband, Bill, Dennis Durante, Dan Durante, Dawn Durante, Dorian Durante and wife, Tracy, and Charles Richards and wife, Mitzie; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Don owned and operated Peralta Power Equipment since 1975. He was an active member of Greater Vision Ministries (Hosanna Assemblies of God) as well as a member in good standing with the Los Lunas Gun Club. Mr. Durante was a Boy Scout Leader for many years and owned several Esso/Exxon Service Stations in New Jersey. He enjoyed camping with his family, traveling and riding motorcycles. DODSON, BRIAN WADE PH.D. Dr. Brian Wade Dodson, Ph.D. age 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday, April 5, 2014. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Camilla. He is also survived by his Mother, Ruby; his brother, Leonard; his brother's wife, Kim; two nieces, Marian Dodson and Mary Beth McEvoy; and one nephew, Thomas McEvoy. Brian's father, Leonard, predeceased him in death. Brian spent the majority of his working career at Sandia National Laboratories. He was, during the course of his career, a physicist, a manager, a program manager at National Science Foundation, and a Sandia patent agent. After his retirement from Sandia, he worked as a technical consultant and pursued gourmet cooking. He was also well known in the community as a tenor, a musician, and an opera singer performing in a variety of civic light operas and musicals. Brian, to honor Camilla, flew to Ireland to sing the Dalkey Castle and then traveled throughout Europe singing. Brian brought his outstanding tenor voice and quiet dignity to the African American Catholic Community. He loved the music, and he loved to be with the African American Catholic Community. The choir director, Mrs. Louise Davis, lovingly called him IL DIVO. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at Brian and Camilla's home at 12709 Viewcrest Place NE on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 am for all Brian and Camilla's friends and colleagues. There will be food, drink and music with which to remember Brian and to share memories.

VALDEZ, ROSALIE M. Rosalie passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 27, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She fought a long struggle with COPD and other health issues. She was born in Raton, NM on February 5, 1939 and was a graduate of Raton High School, class of 1957. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1964. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Seferino and Laura Cordova, and brother Joe Cordova. She is survived by her husband Andy Valdez; son Robert Valdez (fiancee Laurel); daughter Debra Valdez (fiancee Stephanie); and grandson Cody Valdez. Rosalie and Andy were high school sweethearts and were married for 54 years. She was a very loving and caring person. She loved her pets and was a long time friend of Bill W. Services will be held at Risen Savior Catholic Community Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd, NE; Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 5th at 7:00pm; funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 6th at 10:00am. RONDEAU, EDGAR ROGER Edgar Roger Rondeau of Sherwood, Oregon, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 after a long illness. In his final days he was well cared for by the staff of Marquis Care Center at Newberg, OR. Ed was born the son of Theodore A. and Yvonne C. (LaMontagne) Rondeau on Wednesday, July 8, 1936 in Worcester, MA. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings and four sisters-in-law. Ed graduated from Nashua High School in Nashua, NH in 1954 and moved with his parents and family to Albuquerque, NM the following year. He attended and graduated from the College of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande in Albuquerque, in 1959. Ed went on to Fordham University in New York City where he completed his masters in Sociology. He then attended Brown University in Rhode Island and earned a second master's degree. Ed returned to Albuquerque where he began a long career in personnel with the Bureau of Indian Affairs which culminated in Portland, OR. He retired from the BIA and raised miniature schnauzer dogs on his land in Sherwood, OR. Ed was a kind and gentle person who wanted to and did help others. He will be missed. Ed is survived by his brother Wilfred and his wife Doris Jean of Huntington Beach, CA; sister Jeanne L. Kabat of Viroqua, WI; brother Raymond H. Rondeau of Albuquerque, NM; brother Thomas Rondeau and wife Connie of Albuquerque; sister Pauline Shepherd of Gilbert, AZ; numerous nephews and nieces; and those who have come to know and appreciate him where he has lived and worked. He also leaves behind a special friend Mike Braddock who has been of great assistance to Ed during these last several years. A Memorial Service will be held on a date and time to be determined.
