PADILLA, DYLAN JOSEPH Dylan Joseph Padilla, born April 20, 1999, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died at 13 years old on March 27, 2013. Dylan was a young man who unconditionally loved. His smile, his personality, left an unforgettable mark in this world. Dylan loved music, movies, school, gymnastics, the lake, friends and family, goldfish, pizza and chocolate milk. Dylan is survived by his parents, Joe Padilla and Tracey Gilmer Padilla; sisters Ryannon and Savanna Padilla; grandparents, Leroy Padilla of Las Vegas, NM, Hilda Herrera of Albuquerque; Tom Gilmer of TorC, NM; and Kathleen Brandtner Smith of Albuquerque; his Uncle Travis and Aunt Olivia Jackson of Albuquerque; and cousins Isabel and Alex Jackson; his Uncle Brad Gilmer of Albuquerque; his Uncle Chuck and Aunt Alisa Smith of San Jose, CA and cousin Raven Smith; his Aunt Jeannie Dyke of Albuquerque; and cousins Amy and Stephanie Dyke. There are numerous other Uncles and Aunts and Cousins. Dylan was preceded in death by his Uncle Bruce Gilmer; his Granddad, Ed Smith and his Granny Annie Smith. He was a member of Special Olympics of New Mexico. Visitation will be on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. and a Eulogy and music to follow. We want as many who can, to tell us their story of Dylan. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A reception will follow at The Padilla Home, 1608 Torribio Dr. NE. PADILLA, PATRICIA Age 73, a lifelong resident born and raised of Santa Clara Pueblo, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, one day after her birthday. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Epimenio Sisneros; mother, Olaria Sisneros; brother, Raymond Sisneros; sister-in-law, Louise Sisneros. Patricia earned an associate's degree from Brigham Young University and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico. She truly enjoyed her career as a Public Health Nurse, serving the pueblos of Sandia, Santa Ana, Jemez, Isleta and Zia for over 25 years. She retired in early 2007 from the Indian Health Service, US Public Service. Patricia enjoyed reading on a variety of topics but especially those related to the health field. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her yard. She was a potter and enjoyed preparing for the annual Santa Fe Indian Market where she earned the status of tenured artist. She loved spending time with her family. Patricia is survived by her husband, Anthony Padilla, and would have celebrated their 49th anniversary on August 8th; sons: Terrence Padilla, Brian Padilla and wife Lucretia; daughter, Karen Aguino and husband Steve; grandchildren: Kayleen Aguino, Kyle Padilla, Amber Padilla, Stuart Padilla, Maia Aguino, Lea Aguino, Kira Padilla, Devonne Padilla; great-grandchildren: Jace Montoya and Kameaaloha Padilla; mother-in-law, Helen Padilla; brother, Jerry Sisneros and nephew Jerry, Jr.; sister Rosemary Lewis and husband Travis; numerous other loving relatives and friends. The family would sincerely like to thank the staff of Albuquerque Presbyterian Hospital for their efforts on behalf of Patricia and her family. PACHECO, DAVID B. David, age 56, went to be with our Lord Jesus on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was predeceased by his mother Lena Pacheco. David is survived by his spouse of 18 years, Katy Pacheco; sons: Davey Pacheco and wife Andrea, Keith Roache, and Mathew Roache; daughters: Robbi and husband Solstice Ceniceros and Sarah and husband Eric Voccio; father, Gilly Pacheco; brothers: John (Maureen Fronek), Nick (Debbie) and Mike; sisters: Rebecca (Frank) and Lydia (Ron); and ten grandchildren. OWENS, JIMMIE J. Jimmie J. Owens was born March 20th, 1937 in Ramona, Oklahoma and passed away to be with the Lord and Savior Thursday, March 28th, 2013. Jimmie was a beloved father, grandfather, and loving husband, and was called to his ministry by our Lord Jesus Christ more than 30 years ago. In the years that he was serving the poor, the broken, and the hungry together with his strong loving wife Georgie Owens, the Streets of Hope was created. This organization hope brought light across Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico through soup kitchen missions and orphanage assistance. His loving caring memory is well engraved in the hearts of many he helped care for. We ask that all those he touched to pray for his soul and memory. NORDYKE, HORACE WILLIAM (BILL) Age 87, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013. He was a local and international businessman and community leader. After earning his Master's degree at Purdue University in Electrical Engineering, Bill began his career with IBM, where he helped to design and build the first IBM computer (1949 1959). After working at RCA (1959 1963) developing a worldwide intelligence system, he then went on to work for Aerospace Corporation (1963 - 1980), where he was in charge of research and development of the Early Warning System. He later was awarded the civilian equivalent rank of a two-star general (USAF) under General Curtis LeMay in recognition of his contribution to military projects. He then went on to develop his own consulting company, TCI, (1982 2002), where he and his team developed international technology commercialization projects. In his free time, Bill was an accomplished sailor and was the president of the P28 Sailing Association. He shared an interest in gemstones and precious metals with his wife, Maryann, which they were able to transform into a successful jewelry making enterprise. He devoted his life to being a good person and giving back to his community. His contributions to the local community were extensive. He was a member of the Albuquerque Rotary Club and served as president. He was instrumental in the growth of the Albuquerque Museum of Natural History and Science, where he served as president and chairman of the Board of Trustees, as well as the president of the Foundation. He was chairman of the Board for the New Mexico Rehabilitation Center. He acted as the Albuquerque Petroleum Club Board chairman and president. He served on the New Mexico Governor's Advisory Council as well as the Boy Scouts of America District Governors Board, the Habitat for Humanity Board, the Albuquerque International Association Board (AIA), the UNM Science and Engineering Advisory Council and the Rio Grande Technology Inc. (Technet) Board. He was an honorary board member of Planned Parenthood of New Mexico. During his later years, he was chairman and president of the La Vida Llena Full Life Foundation. He was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year by the New Mexico Philanthropy Association. His service and contribution to national organizations was equally impressive. This included service on the advisory board of the US Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), the National Museum Foundation Board, and the Small Business Congressional Advisory Council which reported yearly to Congress. He was chairman and president of the Coalition for International Proliferation Prevention Board which worked directly with the US Dept. of Energy. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII and was the youngest chief in the Navy at that time. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Maryann Zinn Nordyke; his daughter, Nancy Nordyke of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his daughter, Cathy Nordyke and his son-in-law, Don McAlister of Eugene, Oregon and his grandchildren, Jesse Nordyke, Miria Thurmond, Chelsea McAlister and Amber McAlister. A Memorial Service will be held at La Vida Llena dining hall, 10501 Lagrima de Oro NE, on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to the La Vida Llena Full Life Foundation or to the charity of your choice.

NAU, JOHN D. was born on January 28, 1945 in Charlestown, Indiana. He lost a three year battle with cancer on Thursday, March 21, 2013. A 1963 graduate of Valley High School, John was an avid outdoorsman. His father taught him to fish at the age of two. He loved the mountains, fishing and hunting and has joined his hunting buddies, Ted and Steve, in that never ending hunting ground. He was also an accomplished leather crafter; making chaps, belts, wallets, rebuilding saddles and many other items. John was preceded in death by his father on Sunday, March 17, 2013. He is survived by his mother, Louise; brother, Ralph; sister, Bonnie Ortiz and husband, Pat; two nephews, Dion Ortiz and wife, Sandy, Travis Nau and wife, Gina; nine great nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his hunting buddies, Armand, Mitch, Kirt, Joel, Leroy, Doug, Pete and Ronnie. MURO, EVELYN S. Evelyn S. Muro (nee Versfelt), passed into Eternal Life on March 26, 2013 at the age of 83. She was born on November 18, 1929 in Rockville Centre, NY and lived a rich and full life. She married Michael C. Muro of Lynbrook, NY on October 9, 1948 and enjoyed 47 plus years of marriage before he preceded her in death on January 7, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her beloved youngest child, Christiana Anne Muro Garafola-Humphrey; her parents, Edna B. and Norman E. MONTOYA, GINA YVONNE It was a hell of a fight. Gina Yvonne Montoya was born on 9/10/59 and passed away on 3/15/13. She was raised in the Barelas neighborhood and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1977. Her entire working career was spent in the grocery business (Furr's, Raley's and Albertson's) and she retired with 35 years of service in 9/12. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Montoya; brother, Joseph J. Montoya. She is survived by her father, Jose F. Montoya; her sister, Debra J. MARTINEZ, DONALD Beloved brother, uncle and friend, Donald Martinez passed away on March 22, 2013. He was 57 years old. Donald was born in 1956 in Albuquerque, NM and spent his life here. He leaves behind his older brothers, Tony Sanchez, Phillip Torres with wife Frieda; daughter, Tanya and family; son, Tony with wife Priscilla and family; as well as his niece and nephew, Christine Lovato with husband Brian Johnson and Joe Lovato with wife Tracy and family. He was a long-time employee at YDI where he leaves behind many friends. His enjoyments in life included Santana, The Who, The Rolling Stones, cooking, time at the casino and ardently supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers. His aversions included stupid people and the Denver Broncos. Donald had been dealing with health problems and "those damn doctors" for several years before his death. We love you and will miss you Uncle Ducky. May the Steelers win the Superbowl in your heaven and up there, it's always 4:20.

Gilbert Martinez obtained the Korean Service Medal, U. N. Medal, 5 Bronze Service Medals and went on to obtain the Presidential Service Merit. He enjoyed listening to country music. George Jones was his all-time favorite musician. He was preceded in death by his father, Melquides Martinez, mother, Candia Hernandez and siblings Dave, Cecilia and Beatrice. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patsy Mary Martinez, His children, Alex Montoya, Candy Montoya, Lucy Montoya, Clara Montoya, Jerry Montoya, Albert Montoya, 40 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-great Grandchild and his sister Eloisa. MARTIN, CLARENCE BURL JR. Mr. Martin died peacefully at home on March 23, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Margaret "Peggy" Martin. Curley was survived by his three sons: Gary and wife Janet, Larry and wife Carole, Mark and wife Brenda; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Curley was a paratrooper in the Pacific during WWII. He loved to garden, hike and camp and was a avid woodworker. He was also a charter member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. LENHOFF, RITA DOLORES Age 91, a longtime resident of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho gave in to the gentle increasing tugs on her heart by her Creator and joined him on March 27, 2013. Rita was born on November 17, 1921 in the Albuquerque area, the eldest daughter of eight children born to Casimiro Baca (CB) Sanchez and Dolores Baca. Rita's father CB owned and operated the Dependable Food Market at 307 W. Coal Ave in Albuquerque for many years. Rita attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1940 when it was the only high school in town. She then completed secretarial school in Albuquerque, and because World War II was ongoing, she met the call of her nation to help the war effort working as a secretary at the War Production Board in Washington DC where a few of her brothers lived. At a dance studio Rita met, fell in love with, and later married Master Sergeant Raymond J. Lenhoff in Albuquerque at Sacred Heart Church in 1944, and they honeymooned at the La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, NM. Her husband's duty with the Army Security Agency in Radio Intelligence took them to the Los Angeles area Reseda Army Station where her first son Joseph was born in 1944 in Van Nuys, CA, then back to Albuquerque where her second son Charles was born in 1946. After Charlie's birth she traveled with her two young sons, joining her husband in Asmara, Eritrea, Africa. From there she returned to have her first daughter Cecelia in 1948 at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC. Later assignments took Ray and Rita to, Carlisle, Pennsylvania where in 1949 she had her second girl, Teresa, who later in 1966 was to die tragically in a freak accident at a car wash in Albuquerque at the tender age of 16. Other assignments were in Ayer, MA and Warrenton, VA. In 1954 her husband Ray suffered a major heart attack while on duty in Madrid, Spain and was disabled retired and discharged from the Army and they settled for good in Albuquerque. In 1960 and 1961 Rita started her "second family" where her sons Raymond and James were born in Albuquerque. Rita is survived by her five remaining children, Joseph, Charles, Cecilia, Raymond and James and their children: Kurt and Erika; Scott, Evan and Todd; Patrick (adopted); Aaron, Sarah and Adam; and Joseph and Daniel, respectively. She has four great grandchildren by Kurt (Skyler and Ashley) and Erika (Hannah and Noah). Rita's husband Ray died in 1971, and Rita lived independently in her own home until just before her death. Rita's brothers, Ben; Arthur; Hilary; and Charlie; and one sister Lucy; are deceased, but she is survived by her sister Angeline Sanchez of Albuquerque; and Josephine Trujillo of Seal Beach, CA. She also has a number of cousins and relatives still living in the Albuquerque area, and a surviving aunt, Helen Ogaz of Mountain View, CA. Rita will be remembered at a viewing at the new French Funeral facility at 1950 Pine Ave NE in Rio Rancho near Rita's home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 on Tuesday April 2, 2013. Rita's Celebration Mass will be at 10:30 on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Internment services will take place later on Wednesday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe NM at 3:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 2:45 PM. KENNEDY, LYNN WATSON DR. Age 78. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, prior to the last 16 years that she lived with her husband Dr. Jerry D. Kennedy, on St. Eustatius, an island in the Caribbean. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her daughter Kim Kennedy and her son Mike Kennedy, both of Albuquerque; one granddaughter Siera Lynn Sporleder and Jason Baca; and two great-grandsons Jay and Jerry Baca all of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her brother Dr. Frank H. Watson and wife Cecelia Watson of Medford, Oregon; three nieces; one nephew; and many friends both in Albuquerque and on the Island of "Statia." Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Kennedy and her parents Dr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Watson. Mrs. Kennedy had her PhD in physics. She had attended Pomona Colleges, University of California at Berkeley and Lehigh University in Pennsylvania where she earned her Doctorate. She worked as a contractor for DOE for her entire career. Mrs. Kennedy was also a 3rd generation member of PEO. A Memorial will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Visitation will be held the night before on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A private family burial will take place at Sunset Gardens.
