ROBINSON, LUCIUS Dr Lucius Littauer Robinson of San Antonio, TX died quietly surrounded by family on Thursday, January 23. Luke was born in Corinth, MS in 1929. He attended Ole Miss and Mississippi Southern on football scholarships, received his DDS from the University of Tennessee in 1952, and later did postgraduate work at the University of Michigan. Luke was a fine dentist with several years in private practice in Iuka, MS and 28 years of service in the Air Force. He retired as a Lt Col in 1978 and enjoyed his long retirement as a Master Gardener and a very active Rosarian in Albuquerque, NM and Rogers, AR. He and his wife moved to San Antonio in 2005 to live in the Army Residence Community (ARC). Dr Robinson is survived by his dearly beloved wife of 58 years, Mima Lou; three children Patti, Wade, Rex, and their spouses; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be private but friends may make donations in his memory to the Protestant Chapel Fund at the ARC, 7400 Crestway, San Antonio, TX 78239 or the charity of their choice.
