MINGUS, ELAINE Elaine Mingus was born in Columbus, Ohio, on February 26, 1926 and left this earth on February 12, 2014 just shy of her 88th birthday. She spent many years passionately involved in the James Joyce community and and self-published three books in the last two years of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Williams and two daughters, Jennifer Irvine and Billie Jo Menges. She is survived by four daughters: Laura Ferrary, Jacqueline Dalmy, Peggy Diehl and Sharon Thomas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
