LEE, GERALD WAYNE Sept 24, 1942 - Feb 4, 2014 Gerald Wayne Lee of Edgewood, NM, passed away on Feb 4, 2014, at the age of 71. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lynn Lee. His children Mike and wife Patsy Lee, Justin and wife Shawna Lee, and Kimberly Clark. His grandchildren Amber Lee, Luther Lee and Ashley Mills, Ashley Lee, Alisha Lee, Kyle Lee, Brianna Lee, Jeremiah Brown, Gage Brown, Taylor Brown, Ian Brown, Wyatt Clark, Hailey Clark and Makenzie Clark. His great-grandchildren Mike Lee, Samantha Lee, JayLynn Lee and Benjamin Brown. His two sisters Rita Russell and Ruby Killian. Gerald was preceded by Bob Lee. Gerald was born in Clovis, NM on Sept. 24, 1942. He worked on dairy farms growing up and at the age of 19 started his career as a truck driver. He drove his truck with a steady hand and nerves of steel. He received many awards for his superior driving skills. Gerald retired in 2012, spending time with his family, enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to garden. Gerald was a kind, thoughtful, honest man that gave you his word and meant it. His family will always cherish every moment they spent with him and have lots of memories. Gerald will be dearly missed and always be in our hearts. Services will be held on February 8, 2014 at Moriarty Civic Center, 201 S Broadway from 10am to 2pm. KOPPENHAVER, DONALD NORMAN Donald passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on February 27, 1935 to Adele and Glen Koppenhaver in San Pedro, CA. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary of Los Lunas; daughter, Rebecca (Anthony) of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, Max and Milo; daughter, Daneen; and son, Craig, both of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Guy Miller. Following his graduation from San Diego State University, Don joined the Air Force and for the next 21 years served his country, spending one year at Phan Rang Air Force Base in Vietnam. Upon his military retirement, he completed a Masters' degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked at Honeywell Defense Avionics until his retirement in 2000. He was a supreme craftsman, avid reader of scientific writings, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Kleinhenz; dear mother of Barbara Ann (husband Paul); Mark Anthony (wife Charlene); Clareen Francis (husband Rudy); Carol Marie Murray; Timothy Michael (Wife Vera); Gregory Joseph; Stephen Girard; grandmother of 20; great- grandmother of 21; sister of James Six (wife Judy); Alice Claire Conwell (husband Jim); June and Orin Smalley (deceased); Bert Six (deceased) (wife Dora) and daughter of the late Waldo and Mary Pearl (nee Hostettler) Six. Norma was a resident of Albuquerque, NM form 1968 until 2003 where she then moved to Edgewood, NM. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Dar) since June of 1999 and enjoyed involvement in her chapter. JONES, SHARON LYNN April 14, 1947 - February 6, 2014 She lost her short but hard fought battle with cancer. Sharon peacefully transitioned at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Evelyn Siegrist; her brothers, LaVern and Don Siegrist. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 42 years, Adrian K. Jones; daughter Angela (David) Sanchez; sons, Jason and Anthony (Julie) Jones; grandchildren, Leilani and Makai Sanchez, and Jayden Jones; sisters, Pat Korniak and Marilyn Black; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. JAUREGUIBERRY, PATRICE J. November 22, 1947 December 3, 2013 Patrice Jean Pierre Jaureguiberry, 66, passed away from a sudden illness on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Clotilde and Pierre Jaureguiberry; and special friends Victor and Angelita Perez and son Ernest of Encino, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Louise; son Gabriel and fiancee Michelle; and grandson Sendoa; brother Jean, wife Kristine; nephew Josef, wife Robyn and grand-nephew Christian; nephew Alex and fiancee Sophie; cousin Marie Claire Wheeler and sons Scott and Jeff; and numerous relatives in the Basque region of France. Pat came to America in 1950 on the Queen Mary with his parents and brother. He graduated from St. Michaels High School in 1966 and attended the University of New Mexico. He retired from the USDA Wildlife Services program after 32 years of service, among many friends and colleagues. He transported injured animals for the Wildlife Center for years and enjoyed working with school children, teaching about wildlife in schools across New Mexico. He was called "a renaissance man" being multi-talented as an artist and craftsman. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Resurrection will be said at Saint Fructueux Church in the Basque village of Itxassou, France. The honorary pallbearers are all the people that loved him across two continents. A memorial celebration of Pat's life will be held at the Vista Grande Community Center, 15 La Madera Rd., Sandia Park, NM on Saturday, February 15th from 1-3:30 p.m.

JADRNICEK, LARRY KENT Age 72, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born in Cedar Rapids, IA on July 18, 1941, to Aldo and Mildred Jadrnicek. Larry is survived by wife, Sandra Jadrnicek of Albuquerque, NM; son, Aldo (Sherry) Jadrnicek of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Kathryn (Michel) Schnetzer of Westminster, CO; granddaughter, Emily Jadrnicek; brother, Robert Dean (Sharon) Jadrnicek of Oak Creek, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry was resident of Albuquerque since 1973 and enjoyed sky diving, motorcycles, scuba diving, he also loved animals. He had a black belt in karate and worked 36 years for the phone company. HYATT, CORI LYNNE (RAY) Cori, our loving wife and mother, wonderful daughter, loyal sister, faithful friend, caring mentor, and strong leader, passed away on February 2, 2014, after a valiant battle against breast cancer. During her illness, Cori demonstrated great determination and courage and gave strength to those who loved and cared for her. Cori is survived by her husband, Jacques Hyatt; her children, Tommy Moore, Kelsi Moore, Chloe Hyatt; and step sons, Hunter and Chandler Hyatt, all of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by her mother, Linda and husband Dave Marsh; her father, Joseph Ray; her sister, Andrea Sanchez and husband Greg; brother, Doug Ray and wife, Leah Ray; step brothers, Michael Marsh and Brian Marsh; stepsister, Gina Marsh; nephews, Joel, Ryan and Ian Sanchez, and niece, Angelyn Aranda, all of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her family at Midland Memorial Hospital. Cori was loved and greatly respected by all. Cori was born April 21, 1970 to Joseph Harold Ray and Linda Adams Ray. She grew up in Albuquerque, NM, and graduated from Del Notre High School in 1988. She was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" in her high school class. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority at UNM, and recently was given a pin to honor 25 years as an Alpha Chi. In 1992, Cori received a Bachelor's of Business Association Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of New Mexico and in 1996, a Master's Degree in Organizational Management. She was Director of Human Resources for Premier (Anheuser-Busch) Distributing in Albuquerque, Director of Human Resources for Levi Strauss, Volvo Buses, and The Rehabilitation Hospital in Roswell, NM. She served as Director of Public Health for Southeastern New Mexico; President of the Southeast New Mexico Society for Human Resources Management; and, was appointed by the Governor of New Mexico to the State Personnel Board from 1996-2001. Cori was Director of Human Resources for Midland Memorial Hospital from 2006 until her passing. 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' A Memorial Service for Cori will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo Del Norte Ave NE. HUTCHINSON, JACQUELINE E. Jackie passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Jan 17, 2014. At age 80, she lost her third battle with cancer. Her ashes are interred in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. She was a loving wife and wonderful friend--talented and admired. She will be greatly missed. Born July 23, 1933, she was raised in Kansas. She retired after 36 years with Boeing as Technical Illustrator and Supervisory Engineering Draftsman. Jackie was self-employed in graphic arts in Taos in the past. She had several hobbies including creating metal and beaded jewelry. She enjoyed a myriad of activities and after moving back to New Mexico in 2000, she and her husband were active in the Rio Grande Jazz Society. Jackie is survived by her husband of 18 years, Eugene "Bones" Hutchinson, and brother, Marvin Clary. No services planned.

HART, JOHN MCKINLEY A lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. A loving, dedicated husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann; sons, Charles, Lee, and John, all living in Albuquerque; and nephews, Roger and Rodney. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward James Hart; his wife, Jean; and son, Robert. John was born in Albuquerque on July 6, 1924. He attended Albuquerque High School, Baylor University, and University of New Mexico receiving degrees in Business Management, and Health and Physical Education. He was a letterman football player at all three schools while also enjoying competitive softball and skiing with his family. He was an avid Lobo football/basketball fan and contributor, regularly attending their games. John proudly served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy for three years of active duty and 20 years of reserve service. After enjoying work for 39 years at Sandia National Laboratories, he retired as Manager of their Purchasing Department. John was a gentle, kind, and loving person who left an indelible impression on all whom he touched. He will be truly missed. GARCIA, AARON LYNN It is with great sadness that the family of Aaron Lynn Garcia announces her passing that occurred on February 3, 2014 at the tragically young age of 33 after a brief illness. Aaron was born in Pueblo, CO on July 28, 1980 to her parents Geraldine and Rosendo Garcia. She graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1998 and also attended CNM. Aaron was an unbelievably amazing and dedicated daughter, sister, friend and god-mother that will be emphatically loved, missed, always remembered and celebrated. Aaron was the cornerstone of her immediate family; the one to keep everyone happily together. She was an avid cook/baker and enjoyed spending time with friends and family which she did constantly. She loved to laugh and travel especially to Pueblo, CO where she has other close family members remaining. Aaron attended Mass at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Albuquerque and would volunteer as much as she could to help others. She is survived by her parents; sisters Crystal Roche and Kelly Garcia; god-daughters Ashley Perez and Kaliyah Roche; god-son Woody Gallegos; along with her dog honey bear; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her grandfather. EVERETT, THERESA FAIFER Theresa Faifer Everett passed away on January 31, 2014. She was born on May 2, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. Theresa moved to Albuquerque when she was 15 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Jean Faifer. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Laura; grandson, Zachary; brothers, Tom and wife Barbara, Jerry and wife Karen; sister, Amy and boyfriend Danny; several nieces and nephews; and John Everett. Theresa graduated from Del Norte High School in 1973. She worked as a bookkeeper, and for the last 13 years worked as the parish/school bookkeeper at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She also served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Lector at the church. Theresa loved the Lord and helped out with various church activities. She also volunteered with community theatre for several years. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan. After courageously battling cancer for two years, she went to be with the Lord. The Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, 811 Guaymas Pl. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The celebrant will be Fr. Edward C. Domme. COWAN, ROBERT EUGENE Robert Eugene Cowan, 81, resident of Los Alamos, NM, died January 29, 2014. He was born to the late James and Opal Cowan, December 2, 1932, in Milford, IL. Robert graduated from Milford High School in 1950 and attended University of Illinois where he received both his Bachelor and Masters degrees. Out of college, Robert worked at Westinghouse in Pittsburgh, PA. He moved to Los Alamos in 1957 and spent the remainder of his career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Robert was known to most as "Bob" and to his ham radio friends as "K5QIN". Robert was active in the community with New Mexico Search and Rescue and Los Alamos Amateur Radio Club (W5PDO). Robert is survived by his two children: Annette Chavez (Jerry) of Albuquerque and Diana Morrow (Steven) of Fort Collins, CO. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Keith Chavez (Daisy), Daniel Chavez (Marisol), Adrienne Bowen (Tom), Michelle Chavez, and Olivia Morrow and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the Los Alamos Amateur Radio Club (P.O. Box 787, Los Alamos, NM 87544) or the Northern New Mexico/ Los Alamos United Way (1200 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544). A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 16th at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos.
