PARTIN, KENDRA MARIE ANN Kendra Marie Ann Partin, daughter of Carolynn Dulaney of Estancia, and Lloyd Partin of Wichita, Kansas, step-parents Jeff Dulaney and Wanda Partin. Kendra was a loving mother to her beautiful son Logan Michael Sanchez-Partin, age 6, who was the center of her life. She was very close to her four brothers Paul age 34, Jeremiah age 32, Cory age 22 and Jefferson age 16 who counted on her to keep the family together while always having fun. Our little girl entered the world on April 9, 1983 in Campbell County Hospital, Gillette, Wyoming, kicking and screaming like no other obviously with something important to say. Kendra lived in Gillette for nine years where she began home schooling and caring for her brothers that she loved so dearly. Her family moved to Estancia, New Mexico in 1992 where her father worked as a line manager for Cutter Aviation and her mother was a science teacher at Estancia Middle School. She graduated a year early from Estancia High School in 2002 where she achieved good grades throughout school, excelled in sports, loved horseback riding and loved God and family, Kendra was blessed with a second summer home in Hill City, South Dakota where she helped her grandmother Mary Cornelison operate a cattle ranch. Naturally gifted in the arts and fashion, Kendra pursued a career modeling and teaching ballet for children in Estancia. Kendra planned to attend cosmetology school this year with dreams of opening a salon in Albuquerque shortly thereafter. She had a loving relationship of four years with her fiance Mark Kobi of Los Alamos with recent plans to marry. Acting as interior designer and decorator, she recently built her dream home in North East Albuquerque where she found happiness for herself and Logan while regularly entertaining her family and many friends. For Kendra, God was the number one thing in life and her dreams and hope came from him. God made Kendra delicate. SEMINERIO, MAURINE Maurine Ellison Johnson Seminerio of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the family home after a long illness. Maurine was born in Aspermont, Texas (Stonewall County) in 1938 where her father worked as an oil rigger. Her parents, Andrew Horace and Leona (Martin) Ellison, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Maurine was proud of her Ellison family heritage in Stonewall County with family and friends there too numerous to mention. She graduated high school in Aspermont then married Lee Johnson who followed construction work to the booming city of Albuquerque. She always welcomed her sons' friends to the dinner table and even helped raise those needing a helping hand. She felt that she would rather they hung out as her house than get in trouble on the streets. Her home cooked meals were legendary and she was famous for her home canned preserves and chow-chow. After many years of being alone following the loss of her husband Lee, Frank Seminerio came into her life and they were married in 1999. Frank was a construction supervisor and exhibits designer for the City of Albuquerque. They moved to Roswell, New Mexico in 2002. Maurine and Frank spent several years designing and building miniature exhibits they sold throughout the area. Together they remodeled their house in Roswell, doing the design and hard work themselves. In recent years she battled several medical problems and succumbed in the comfort of her own home. Maurine is survived by husband, Frank Seminerio, Sr., of Roswell; her brother, Ray Ellison of Austin, Texas; sons, Ed Johnson, and Jay Johnson both of Albuquerque; daughters-in-law, Vicky and Diane; grandchildren, Edward Johnson III, Don Johnson, Terri Johnson, Jay Johnson II, Brian Johnson and Tammy Johnson; and stepson Frank Seminerio, Jr. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014, 1:00 p.m. in Albuquerque at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
